Oregon Shorts, a Northwest Film Center's Portland International Film Festival, is a screening of short films by Oregon producers. One of the films featured is "An Oregon Canyon," by Sika Stanton and Donnell Alexander, which explores the story of John A. Brown, an early Oregon homesteader, and how the land he settled finally came to bear his name.
