McMenamin's presents writer Putsata Reang and filmmaker Ivy Lin in a screening of and panel discussion about their This Land project, Bitter Harvest, about Chinese hop farmers in Oregon in the early 1900s. Panelists will include Tiah Edmunson-Morton, Oregon Hops and Brewing Archives curator; Betty Jean Lee, granddaughter of farmer Ah Coe; David Wagner, family friend of farmer Ming Kee; and Patrick Harris, executive director of the Old Aurora Colony Historical Museum. This is an Oregon Humanities cosponsored event.
