Make a Sustaining Gift

A sustaining gift is the best way to provide consistent support for Oregon Humanities’ statewide work. Your monthly or quarterly donation helps start conversations across difference that grow into new relationships and stronger, more connected communities.

Make a One-Time Gift

Deliver Oregon Humanities magazine in Burns, start a conversation in Prineville, or connect neighbors in Newport by making a donation today. Every gift makes a difference.

The Leadership Giving Circle

The Oregon Humanities Leadership Giving Circle is a group of visionary Oregonians who give $500 or more annually to sustain Oregon Humanities’ work to create a more imaginative, welcoming, and just Oregon. Read more about the Leadership Giving Circle.

Employer Matching Gifts

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to support charitable organizations. Some companies match dollar for dollar, doubling the impact of your gift. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will take care of the rest.

Donor-Advised Funds

As a donor, you have the option to direct your gifts to Oregon Humanities through a donor-advised fund (DAF). A DAF is a centralized charitable account that enables donors to recommend how much and how often money is granted to qualified charities, streamlining  your giving while maximizing your impact. These funds are an increasingly popular way to make charitable giving easier and often come with immediate tax deductions. Contact us or visit the Oregon Community Foundation's website to learn more.

Stock Donations

Oregon Humanities accepts gifts of stock. Please complete this form and send it to Julia Martinez Soto at j.soto@oregonhumanities.org, or mail it to:

610 SW Alder St., Suite 1111

  • Account ID: 5510 5524
  • DTC: 0164

Once the gift has been transferred to our account, our bank will sell the shares and report the amount of the proceeds to Oregon Humanities. We will send you a letter acknowledging the gift.

Endowment Gifts

Your gift to the Oregon Humanities endowment will sustain our programs and magazine for future generations of Oregonians. Endowment gifts are permanently invested with the Oregon Community Foundation and provide lasting financial support for the Oregon Humanities programs you love. You can also establish endowment gifts through our legacy giving program.

Legacy Giving

Legacy giving—also known as planned giving or gift planning—allows donors to make gifts beyond their lifetimes. If you are interested in extending your support of Oregon Humanities and making a lasting impact, visit our legacy giving page.
