Oregon Humanities is now accepting applications for the 2017-18 Humanity in Perspective (HIP) course. Humanity in Perspective is a free college course for adults who do not have a college degree and who face financial barriers to continuing their education. Over eight months, a community of learners explore challenging ideas about power, justice, knowledge, identity, and community. Participants in the course improve their writing, communication, and critical thinking skills by studying philosophy, literature, US history, and art history.
